Lessons in Creative Thinking, Communication, and Team Growth.
Posting this while still shaking off the last bits of jet lag after two consecutive weeks on the road in Cyprus and Dubai.
It has been an intense, rewarding stretch of work—spending time with our teams across both regions, focusing on strengthening interpersonal skills, sharpening problem-solving approaches, and unlocking more creative thinking in how challenges are tackled.
What stood out most for me in these sessions wasn’t just the content — it was the shift in mindset.
There is a clear difference between “this is not possible” and “how else can we make this possible.” And in both Cyprus and Dubai, I saw that shift happen in real time.
As discussions progressed, teams began moving away from fixed thinking patterns and into more constructive, solution-oriented conversations. Ideas became clearer. Communication became more intentional. And goals started to feel more achievable — not because the problems became easier, but because the thinking around them became more flexible.
A big part of the work also involved translating ideas into clearer communication — learning how to structure thoughts, tell better stories, and gain stronger buy-in from others. These are often the quiet skills that determine whether ideas stay as ideas or become action.
Beyond the sessions, what made the experience even more meaningful was the hospitality and warmth from everyone involved. The generosity, the openness in conversations, and of course, the unforgettable local food recommendations made the entire journey feel incredibly grounded and human.
Moments like these are a good reminder that while industries, roles, and geographies may differ, the core challenges people face are often very similar. At the heart of it, most teams are trying to achieve the same thing — work better together, communicate more effectively, and grow into stronger versions of themselves.
Grateful for the conversations, the energy, and the many small but powerful “lightbulb” moments along the way.
And now… back to fully recovering from jet lag.
